Since 1995 the Zwolle Open Organ Day Committee has organised an open organ day on the first Saturday of July each year, when a number of monumental organs in various churches in or near Zwolle are available to be viewed, listened to and, if appropriate, to be played.

Participating churches are the Great or St. Michael’s Church (Grote Markt), the Catholic Church of Our Lady (Onze Lieve Vrouwe Basiliek, Ossenmarkt), the Dominican Church (Dominicanenkerk, Assendorperstraat 27), the East Church (Oosterkerk, Bagijnesingel 15), the Lutheran Church (Lutherse Kerk, Koestraat 2), the Plantation Church (Plantagekerk, Ter Pelkwijkstraat 17), the Mennonite Church (Wolweverstraat 9), the South Church (Zuiderkerk, Zuiderkerkstraat 29), the Deanery Church (De Proosdij, the former Bethlehem church, Bethlehemse kerkplein 35), the Friars Church (Broerenkerk, Achter de Broeren 1) and the North Church (Noorderkerk, Thorbeckegracht 37). The churches will be open from 10.30 until 15.30. Admission is free.
